The Rhythm Revue are - |
The MusicWe have played together in various groups as far back as the late seventies. In 1979 we where signed to Phonogram Records under the name The Tearjerkers. We toured England and Ireland and supported bands including Thin Lizzy and Dexys Midnight Runners. We have done radio sessions for Peel, Fanning and local radio, appeared on TV released singles, albums. Basically we have been there and bought the T-shirt! In 2005 we decided to hit the road again with a band that plays up-tempo dance/funk/blues/soul music, and play only material that we enjoy. Our set includes songs by Dr John, Wilson Pickett, The Meters, Johnny Guitar Wartson, Eddie Cochrane, Don Covey and Dr Feelgood to name a few.
